Bittersweet!

The classrooms in our department are looking very barren at the moment as they’ve just been redecorated but despite the uninspiring surroundings, several Year 7s said I was the best geography teacher ever, some Year 9s said they hoped I’d be their teacher next year and even Year 8 behaved perfectly… because I bought them chocolate the other day so I’m ‘a legend’.

Do you want to break the bad news to them or shall I?

PS. I told Year 8 today that I thought the final score in the football would be 0-0, with England losing on penalties. Just been proved wrong on the first point, fingers crossed I’m wrong on the second, too!
