Kurparkschlösschen, Herrsching am Ammersee

On our morning stroll along the lake front we came across this beautiful building. I loved the structure and the colours.

A lazy morning by the lake, swimming and reading. The van was parked in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake so we weren’t in a rush to move on. After lunch we visited the beautifully decorated Benedictine monastery of Andechs (see extra). It is also famous for its beer that the monks have been brewing for over 500 years.
