Winterbourne House and Gardens

Another good use of my RHS membership card.

Winterbourne House is beautiful, an Arts and Crafts treasure, and a stunning garden. It’s at the heart of the Birmingham University campus and of terrific importance for study.

The approach is a nightmare- traffic, road works, clean air charge ! But worth every moment. 

If you’ve never been there, and live anywhere in the region, it really is worth a visit. Train and bus routes are good, if you cringe at the thought of driving.
