Fitzrovia

I booked two nights at a Radisson months ago before I bought my opera tickets. They changed my hotel and I seriously thought about taking them up on the free cancellation. I’m glad I didn’t. When I checked out the prices of Central London hotels they seem to have tripled !

So. Fitzrovia it is.

I’ve been exploring. It seems very fashionable and buzzy compared to how I remember it. 

I went for a wander. Fabulous street markets and intriguing restaurants (including the new Nuno Mendes “Lisboeta” and Monica Galetti’s “Mere”.)

Lovely little squares and beautiful gardens.

Maybe Radisson have done me a favour. (but I’ve not forgiven them for not giving me my usual included breakfast.)
