Play mat

My daughter contacted me the other day to request a couple of playmat/bags - circular affairs that open out flat as a playmat, but then gather up to contain the lego/blocks/other toys that have been played with.

I was delighted to actually sew something that is wanted, rather than something that I then try find a use/owner for once it's finished.  This is one little corner of it.  The canvas with hares on was half price in a sale.  The border is just tacked on at the moment.  Once it is firmly attached I shall insert eyelets into it, with cord to gather up the mat.

It has been a cold, wet, drizzly day - glad to be able to spend it indoors doing something I enjoy.
