Indie's spot

We were devastated today to learn that our much loved 15 year old cat Indie had died in the night.  I'd taken him to the vet yesterday as he wasn't right and they had put him on a drip, given painkillers and antibiotics and by the afternoon he had appeared to be on the mend.  We don't know the cause but blood tests had indicated pancreatitis and possible sepsis.

It's been a very sad day for us all.  This was his spot in the rockery above the pond and is where I found him, despite the drizzly rain, and in a very weak state to take him to the vet for the last time.

It's hard to imagine our house without his boisterous insistent presence and his raucous meow - we are going to miss him very much.
