River of Flowers

Thursday: Bobbing Robin ...

... my companion whilst I did a few more hours of gardening near the fence behind the garage.
Last night was very misty - I love the triangles of swirling mistiness under the few street lights in our road.
Rain forecast for a few days from tomorrow, so keen to get lots of “little” garden jobs done.
Found some maincrop Pentland Javelin potatoes I’d forgotten about, planted them in a very large plastic garden waste bag. Thick layer of weeds at the bottom, then grass mowings, potatoes, more grass mowings and finally a thick layer of homemade garden compost from an old deep bed.
Also found shallots from last Autumn’s pickled onions, they’ll be planted during next few days.
Sowed seeds of Crambe maritima, fingers crossed ...
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
