Sunday: Sea Stars

As they’re called here.  

Temperatures continue extremely high, even making news in the UK.  We’re under what’s called a heat dome.  Temperatures in the interior are breaking all sorts of records.  

We made sure we factored shade into our day.  We went for a long wooded walk down to Tonquin Beach - the biodiversity, such as sea stars, anemones etc are just amazing.  This evening we discovered McKenzie Beach which had some lovely shade too.
