Plein Air

I met up with my plein air pals today.. the weather was perfect.. not too hot and no wind but there was also no sunshine so everything was rather flat in the dull light.  Still we had great fun.  I have no idea how Monet painted his waterlily pond so brilliantly.. they are truly the hardest thing to capture in watercolour!!
We had our first face to face book club this evening since February 2020.. lovely to be outside discussing the book while drinking wine and having supper together.  These are things we used to take for granted but now feel so special..
