Mares and Foals

It is easy to see there have been a lot of new birds in the garden as that is 40kgs of seed consumed since my last trip to the Clydesdale farm.

At least it gave me another chance to hop out of the car and see how the foals have grown in the last 6 weeks.

Today they were enjoying the sunshine stretched flat out although the adults looked as if they were feeling the heat a bit.

Work on the farm was going at a pace with hay bales being brought in and haylage  being wrapped.
