Meeting the young Python

This weekend our oldest granddaughter Isla (13) and her friend have been visiting . We have discovered teenage girls keep strange hours chatting and nonsense till 3 am and then sleeping till 1 pm !
Grandpa was slightly tired when he got up at 7 am for work but when they eventually surfaced in the afternoon we took them to the local small zoo where the highlight was perhaps the girls getting to hold a baby Royal python . It showed its other name of Ball python by being quite shy and rolled into a ball at first.
Isla was less keen so the photo is of her friend M .
This is a backblip from yesterday and it is now nearly lunchtime Sunday and they are yet to appear- at least last night they were quiet !
