Workies

There are immense amounts of construction/renovation going on in these parts - sounds of sawing, hammering, drilling, both in our building and around the square. Outdoor work for these guys this morning.

Had a reservation to eat at the Vaults with Shandonner in the evening, but sadly he had to cancel due to a rummy tummy. I'd already confirmed the booking, so went by myself. ;-) Excellent grub as ever, and I took my Kindle and started the new Rebus novel. (Did a bit of a double take when I noticed Irvine Welsh sitting at table across the room.) The punnet of delicious strawberries that were earmarked for Shandonner I donated to the lovely bar staff.
