Early start as we headed north for a couple of days at Alton Towers with Matt’s fam. Not quite the big Cyprus holiday we were meant to be on this week, but a fun replacement activity.

Gary and Rach picked us up, then we met Stacey, Si and Wendy for a coffee and pastry somewhere near Birmingham. We couldn’t check in to our accommodation until later, so when we arrived we killed some time by going to the water park. Super fun, even with the big queues for the slides.

Bit of food afterwards, then we checked in to our little “woodland lodges” (so cute and Hobbity). A few drinks with the gang, then to the restaurant for dinner, then some more drinks.
