Posing cattle!

Went across to the Devon county show today which I love because of all the animals! The bus took ages to get there as the traffic was backed up along the A38 from Exeter to Haldon hill! Fortunately the bus out to west point was also delayed so I managed to get there in 2 and a half hours!

Found my way to the cattle sheds but they had already been shown and the winners were having their photographs taken! It was a palaver as not all the animals wanted to pose! The photographer spent a lot of time lying on the ground to get the right angle and waiting for the cows to prick their ears forward! The handlers had long pointed sticks with which they prodded the hooves to get the cows to move!
