The Very Last

Usually, the asparagus season ends June 24th, but the little booth in our street still sells asparagus until tomorrow. So this is the last bunch of 2021 for me. After I took this photo, it got peeled and cooked, and is currently marinating for a salad.

Apart from pottering about in the garden, I did pretty much nothing today - starting with a long and lazy breakfast (with freshly picked berries in my muesli), in sunshine on the terrace, surrounded by cuddly cats. A perfect summer day, just wonderful after a busy week.
