A Gull Flies Through
It's been a day of extremes weather-wise at one moment it's bright, warm and sunny, the next the dark clouds roll in, there's thunder in the air and we get a torrential downpour.
This morning we took Tom to the hospital at Coventry where he had a routine check. Walsgrave Hospital, as it used to be called, it now has a long fancy name, is a bit of a pain to drive to. There are road works all over the place, the sign says they are building new slip roads, but it looks like a motorway construction. It's just as well we were not travelling in the rush hour(s). For some reason getting home is a lot easier!
On the way home we stopped off at The Farm for a coffee and a look at the pigs wallowing around in the mud, they love it.
This afternoon was mainly taken up slumped on the sofa watching tennis and football. I don't often watch a soccer match all the way through, but I have to admit that was a very good result for England. The tennis was also very good, Emma Raducanu went through, Cam Norrie didn't, though he was playing Federer.
