For the first time since February 2020.

John and Norma came up in the afternoon and we had a lovely catch up sitting in the garden in the sunshine.  Lola and Alan were very happy to see them. 

David had managed to book at table at our favourite local Italian (we have missed this place so much) so we surprised John and Norma with dinner out as a belated Father's Day gift for John and an early birthday gift for Norma.

This pair are so much fun to spend time with.  Over 160 years of life experience between them and they are still living life to the full.  They also share a wicked sense of humour and we spent the whole evening with sides sore from laughing.

As ever at Delivino, we enjoyed a warm welcome and delicious food. 

It still blows my mind that when we had lunch there in February 2020, we had no idea (and wouldn't have believed it of someone had told us) it would be 16 months before we were able to return.  Here's hoping it's not another  16 months!!
