Sleepy Saturday...
We all had a bit of a lie in after our Friday night out! :-))
We had a leisurely brunch with John and Norma. Lola is still getting used to having people around again. She gets so excited and goes from person to person looking for ear rubs and cuddles. Norma and John were very happy to oblige.
John and Norma left just before 1pm, David took Lola up to the moor and I spent some time crocheting. It's been ages since I've had any proper time to do that and I really enjoyed it. The bargain priced yarn I bought earlier this week has arrived and I am really happy with the colours. Just two projects to complete and I can start on the new yarn.
Spent a couple of hours on an RPS Lightroom Tips and Tricks course organised by the Creative Eye Group (of which I'm a member). Really enjoyed it.
Other than that, it's been a quiet day. We've felt quite tired all day. Not used to all this socialising, and certainly not used to dining out in the evening! Looking forward to building up our stamina for that in the coming weeks ;-))
Alan and Ashleigh headed to South Queensferry. Ashleigh had booked them on a Firth of Forth cruise but when they got there they weren't able to go on the boat as the tide would have been high when they returned and the ramp too steep for Alan's wheelchair to get off the boat. They will go back another day.
David spent a while playing piano, which I always enjoy. It certainly relaxed Lola!
Had hoped to have a blip catch up but ended up watching an episode of Midsomer Murders. Has there even been a more useless detective team than Barnaby and his side kick?
