The Bridge…..

This wooden arched bridge over Doctors Creek, seen here in the pre-dawn light, is to be replaced. I will be sorry to see it go and I hope it is replaced with one of a similar design. Another heavy frost this morning but not as heavy as frosts in some towns down south. A friend in Rangiora, North Canterbury, reported a temperature of minus 6.8C this morning. Brrrr. We have had a fire burning in the wood burner all day long and we have the heat pump running at times as well.
