Indulgence

Went to Salford today to move my daughters things out from the student halls to her new house. Five of them got together to share a house which will be more homely than the student accommodation.
Her small room with a north facing window during lockdown with hardly any contact to her fellow students and lecturers was not how she had envisaged spending her first year at Uni, so it is onwards and upwards from now.
Her friend moved on the same day and her Mum also came up to help. The new house has a lovely bay window with a view onto a park and the four of us celebrated the excitement with my home made Donauwellenkuchen, as delicious as the name is long!
