Shroomin'

After the overnight rain, beneath the apple tree, mycological ballet.

The cups are less than a centimetre in diameter, balanced on tall stems. I lit them up with a ring light, which is reflected in the tiny hairs on the stems. I'm not really a fungiphiliac unless it has a pointy head, but I think this is Coprinopsis, a form of ink-cap.

I won't be adding it to my lunch.
