Between the showers

It has been like April today. First thing this morning there was a clap of thunder and very heavy rain, and all day we have had intermittent sunshine and showers. Some of the rain was quite heavy. Is it any wonder that we are always talking about the weather when it is like this? But we are thankful we don’t have extraordinary high temperatures, wildfires or mud slides.
Most of my perennial geraniums produce mounds of low foliage with small flowers, but this one has really tall flowers.
