Sweet Potato ......

..... possibly.

It was the second day of the open gardens weekend and we managed to visit a couple during the afternoon. Fortunately the rain has held off.  I liked this plant with dark purple leaves but didn't have a chance to ask the gardener what it was. Using one of the plant identifier websites it suggests Sweet Potato but I am happy for any suggestions.
