Neues Schleswig Schleissheim

Just north of Munich, we spent a large part of the day at this wonderful palace modeled after Versailles. Incredibly we had the interior to ourselves this morning and I think the staff assigned to ‘guard’ each room were probably glad of the distraction. The grounds were also fabulous to wander round as well as the Lustheim palace. See extras.

We started the day with our usual breakfast at a bakery but decided to have a day off from cycling. We’ve found a new two-day route starting tomorrow.
