Binna Ness Haa?

It's been a beautiful sunny day, with some clouds passing over.  Lovely and warm all day.

Slept longer than planned, must have needed it after my early starts.  A morning puttering about the house.  We headed out for a run on the boat with mam and dad, and picnic lunch at Binna Ness.  Nipped into Lerwick for a chip supper, and then popped by Madeline's.  A quiet evening at home. 

After our picnic, we headed out for a walk.  As we walked along the Ness, we stumbled on this old ruin.  I'll need to get on with some investigations.  It's quite a substantial house, and looks possibly like an old Haa House, before the new house was built, further north.  One thing I'm missing from the museum, my boss Dr Ian Tait, he's an expert in the old houses in Shetland.  Taken at Binna Ness, Stromness Voe.
