Just finished reading …

One of those books where you can’t help but go for a sprint finish because you want to know how the characters end up. One critic described it as being like twenty angry cats fighting in a bag, which is a big hyperbolic but does tell you that there is a lot going on. I do love Elif Shafak. There is a vein of magical realism in this one which keeps you wondering about the accuracy of memory and the boundaries of sanity.

 Good day for reading; lot of heavy showers. We did have a walk into town and had coffee in the Lionheart Bookshop. But it was mostly a day for indoor activities, with a fair bit of cleaning and tidying up. We are a messy household, five adults and two cats.
