Love in the time of Coronavirus
We seek to eradicate diseases but like our own passions they have a life of their own. We may adopt masks but our true nature is not easily hidden; the virus and the host are intertwined like lovers, causing disorientation; the virus literally gets under our skin.
Mask wearers are few and far between in this community of ours, although the distance between us has lessened of late. I’m not sure that’s a good thing. And for the one eyed it is not always easy to judge the space between.
The world feels permanently changed.
