The Power of Flowers

It’s Mono-Monday with a “Flower Power” theme from our host, Laurie54 • Flowers truly are powerful. Some return year after year, while others hang out with us for only a season. As true with people there are tall ones and short ones with lots more in between. They come in all different shapes too, way too many to list here. Even their colors vary, coming in every color imaginable, vivid, dull, different shades. There are solids and stripes, swirls and streaks, each one a unique design. Flowers are gifts of Nature, they’ve been healing human bodies and spirits since the beginning of time. Pleasing to the eye, they make us feel better. So powerful they are! • This silver spotted Skipper is known as a nectar thief. Now I know why. He visited each of the cream colored marigolds growing in our garden, drinking in their sweet nectar but never once pollinated a single one. Little Stinker! • Thank you, Laurie54 :)
