A Grey mare's tail
We had decided we wanted to see the Grey Mare's tail waterfall. We had seen the wee one in Galloway Forrest, which confused us as we thought it was near Moffat. It is and this is the proof. The National trust site has a car park and a choice of paths. We opted for the left side and started climbing. We came to the fence at the end of the path and got this wonderful view. So glad we didn't go right as it went up to the top of it and by this point my back had had enough. Star was reasonably good, but the temptation of sheep's poo was too strong. Stern words and treats were all required to prevent disaster.
We carried northwards and had a stop at IKEA...we just had to.
Home for a night's Pitstop, before we head northwards again.
Phew.
