Bird-scarer

We get magpies in our garden and a friend has told us to use old CDs/DVDs to scare them away. Apparently they don't like things that glint in the sun. We don't want magpies as they're supposed to scare off other birds which might otherwise visit the garden. Let's hope that the discs don't scare the other birds as well!
