The Sky Ablaze…..

What a change in the weather today. After a -5C frost yesterday morning, today’s temperature seemed almost balmy. Once some superfluous clouds dispersed the dawn sky in the northeast was ablaze. It was a lovely colourful morning for an early walk.
We had a load of dry firewood delivered yesterday. I managed to stack it this morning, at all times being careful with how I moved and lifted. Luckily no ill effects. Duncan and friend Ellen arrived this afternoon. They are staying overnight prior to driving to Christchurch tomorrow.
