in a flower

i don’t see enough of - a simple gladiola - they are a funny - looking flower really - appearing on a rather - long stem, the blooms - opening in joyful fullness - one right after another - i would’ve liked to have - gotten a photo of the - whole glorious stem - but it was in a vase - with other stems - and just wasn’t meant - to be this time

so a single pink - ‘glad’ bloom will - have to suffice - i believe it tells - a wonderful pink story - while leaving us to enjoy...
