Kristina and Hamish The Brave

Meet Kristina from Lithuania. She runs the shop round the corner from our flat that sells handmade, one-off, recycled products, many of them with a Scottish twist. She has a lovely manner and gets the balance just right by letting you browse happily and helping with information about the things on sale.

And meet Hamish The Brave. I bought him from Kristina and he's the new guard dog for our Edinburgh flat. Over the last few days we've been introducing a few little things here to try to make the place a bit different from your typical holiday let. Let's hope our future guests like dogs!
