Five Months

To the day, since I first pondered the idea of buying my own place.

And here I am five months later, drinking my morning tea on the terrace and enjoying the view of Alborán Hills.

It has been an extraordinary journey, exciting and fraught with frustration in equal measure. And not one I ever wish to repeat!

But my first night in the new flat was lovely, peaceful and cool and I slept through till 7, something I never usually do.

So now I have to unpack the kitchen boxes and put stuff away. But I have found the kettle and the coffee machine, so all is well.

And Jacqui is coming over this evening to help me build the sofa, else we will be watching the game sitting on the floor.
