And in other news, for the first time in my lifetime, the England (male) football team is in a final. It’s a bizarre feeling. I vividly remember the heartache of losing to Germany in Euro 96, of getting dumped out by Iceland, ‘the Wally with the brolly’, near miss after near miss. To be in a final feels strange.
