Merrick on Wednesday

After getting this license plate at the store this morning, I asked Merrick to give me a smile and a frown.

The picture on the left was his first attempt at a smile, so I said..."C'mon man, give me a regular smile." The third is his idea of a frown.

Merrick went with us tonight to help serve dinner to a group of men at a shelter for the homeless in downtown Flint. The 35-40 men were very appreciative, and Merrick had quite a few questions for us on the ride home.
