Abstract Ripple

This week the theme for Abstract Thursday is Water. Many thanks to Ingeborg for hosting us. 

Ad and I went to the local pond and found a ripple. I have placed the ripple as the background and then created a circular shape using the ripple in many angles. It would be nice if it were tidier and I am sure there is a mathematical solution whereas I felt my way adjusting as I went. 
We also saw some flying insects mating I think and Adz took some photos - please see extra.
