Simple Wonder

Katie and Gordon fascinated by the liquid nitrogen session at The Dunbar Science Festival this afternoon. We wandered about a bit aimlessly until we found the corridor filled with half hour workshops. Wow! We played with liquid gas, we cut up sheep eyeballs, and in between we saw The Science of The Circus show. Just brilliant.

Big Science.

As we left I was handed a "Café Scientifique" leaflet and went along this evening for 4 fantastic talks about the physics of CERN, the engineering of CERN, the cutting edge of brain MRI scanning and finally porpoise research in the North Sea. Again, just brilliant.
