Kittiwakes Are Back

As I rode to Dunbar this afternoon I was delighted to hear the kittiwakes calling on the cliffs and castle walls by the harbour. These small gulls will be here through the summer, raising their chicks in pairs perched on these tiny nests.

Bigger Birds.

Off to London this evening on the train, the little Brompton folded in the luggage rack once again. I'm looking forward to a few more days of whizzing around the London streets.
