More jazzy blooms

I know it’s a bit similar to yesterday’s blip but when I saw these plants at the local duck pond today I was struck by the same ‘isn’t nature wonderful’ feeling as yesterday. These flowers seem almost sculptural and I loved how the white contrasts with the backdrop of stripy green.

Not much else to report except it’s school holidays here, meaning I lost the rag at my 3 teenagers who were just lolling about the place today! The youngest turns 14 tomorrow so there are still several more years of this phase!

Ah well, at least there’ll be cake :)
