Heating

Part of the grand project involved installing a new radiator. After the plumber, Matthew, did that, our heating seemed to be constantly “on.” I texted him for help:

M: I think I may have left the three port valve in the manual position, there is a spring release lever on the side.

R: on the side of what?

M: The three port valve in the airing cupboard, I’ll try and send a pic to show you what I mean.

He did.

M: Where the nobble bit is on the right is where I’ve positioned the lever to keep it open when I refilled the system, it will push to the right and spring back to the closed position and come on when required by the timer.
