Oh, deer.

A long walk around Phoenix Park today. The one thing we know about Phoenix Park is that its name has nothing to do with an actual phoenix.  Instead it is taken from Phoenix House, the original home of the British viceroys, which was derived from the Irish fionn miscue ("clear water.") In addition to the very tame herd of deer, we really liked the walled kitchen garden, which was spectacularly colourful today.
