Play time

She spent the day with Tracy today. They had a long walk on the pastures, Katie showing her the best little nooks and crannies and having a picnic in one of Katie's favourite spots. They headed right across to the park near by. Katie had some chill out time with a movie. They did some cooking and Katie tried mint tea with mint she had freshly picked (successfully enjoyed).

When I picked her up, we were given a lovely posey of fresh lavender and fresh mint as well as our tea to take home. Always a bonus! As we were getting tea ready, my phone went. My nephew has requested a video call with his big cousin. I was dismissed and Katie went with the phone to find stories that Ru likes her to read to him. She was very chuffed. We had tea together and a Friday night movie.
