Locomotive Boilers

A late afternoon walk in the rain to South Eveleigh, the new cultural/arts/retail precinct on the site of the former Eveleigh Locomotive Workshops. It was a ghost town, and strangely fitting after listening to a Rest is History podcast about Britain in 1981. Apparently, The Specials’ hit of the same name is the soundtrack for most programs about the ‘80s.

In the absence of other options, it’ll be a SBS World Movie tonight, probably Gloria (Spain/Chile, 2013).
