The 80s theme continued today with someone over the back practising the Flying Pickets’ Only You on sax; a failed attempt to buy a book about the Thatcher* years from three local bookshops; and, lastly, the person in front of me at Great Aunty Three (not the guy pictured) ordering by menu item number.

Edit: Not a Thatcherite. It’s the period of history that’s of interest.
