Fig

There are four figs on our tree, and so far they haven’t been raided by squirrels or any other predators . The fig tree is in a half barrel and grows up the side of the house. Like the rhododendron opposite, it has been in the barrel for very many years and I wonder how it survives on just water and Tomorite. I can’t imagine there is much soil left in there.
I have been so cold today, and am well wrapped up with a jumper on and a scarf round my neck. In the middle of July!
