Town walk…
The day started wet and I didn’t expected there would be any takers for the town walk but there were four; all visitors. I was pleased the walk went ahead because I’d never been on one of Margaret’s walks and I’m always keen to learn from other guides. It’s interesting to see the different routes chosen and the narrative; how much or little detail and what is or isn’t included. And I like to see the different styles of guiding.
When we were outside the Constables (of St Peter Port) Office the Junior Constable, Zoe looked out the door. She’s a friend so I waved across the road and she invited us in for a tour of the ground floor. A lovely little addition to the walk.
