A Country Peasant .....

...... I mean pheasant!!!!

What is it with pheasants????? On Wednesday I took about 15 shots of a beautiful cock pheasant - every one of them blurred in some way ..... this morning, while out with Shadow, I took another fifteen or so - got two decent ones only! I think they move even when they look still!!!!!! (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Wasn't easy keeping the pooch under control AND taking the shot so this has a severe crop as I couldn't really get any closer.
