Mother's day part two

My folks and Carl have taken the boy off to play football in the rain and mud. My daughter has just suggested we go to my bed, snuggle under the duvet and read our books whilst they are gone. With my cold taking its time moving out, I really don't think there is anything that could have made me happier right now.

Later there will be a lasagne and later still taking Anna to a rehearsal but for now there is a cup of tea, a warm bed, a good book and a reading companion.
