Saturday: Powell River Sunset

I’ve got a nice little break coming up.  We’ve headed up to Powell River on the Sunshine Coast for a short break with H&J.

We got the ferry over to Gibson’s this morning and were lucky enough to get on an earlier ferry.  We headed up to Saltery Bay for the second ferry, which is a first come first serve affair.  That was a bit of a longer wait but we had little deck chairs and books so were quite happy on the patch of grass by the terminal.  It was hot, so definitely better to be outside the car than in.

We hooked up with H&J at our accommodation and had a great night on their balcony with the most amazing sunset, courtesy of homemade ragu and pasta, made by K.
